On the morning of July 21, Mr. Quach Tat Liem, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province, conducted an inspection of several key infrastructure projects, including Phu Son Industrial Park in Luong Son Commune, Phu Tho Province.
The inspection delegation included representatives from provincial departments and agencies, the Hoa Binh Regional Project Management Board, the Hoa Binh Regional Land Development Center, and other relevant authorities. Representing Luong Son Commune at the working session were Mr. Doan Tien Lap, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council; Mr. Chu Van Thang, Chairman of the People's Committee; and Mr. Le Minh Long, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee.
At Phu Son Industrial Park Infrastructure Project, the land clearance work within Luong Son Commune has been fully completed. A total of 133.5 hectares of land involving 1,021 households, individuals, and two organizations has been successfully acquired, achieving 100% site clearance. Compensation payments exceeded VND 334.97 billion, creating favorable conditions for the project's implementation.
Regarding the road project connecting the former Nhuan Trach Commune People's Committee headquarters to Ho Chi Minh Road, approximately 2.9 hectares of land are expected to be acquired. However, site clearance activities have not yet commenced because the commune has not received an official request to continue the implementation process.
For the road project linking National Highway 6 to Phu Son Industrial Park (formerly Nhuan Trach Industrial Park), site clearance has reached 97.88% completion. The total land acquisition area is 11.24 hectares, with 205 out of 209 affected households having received compensation totaling VND 70.79 billion for approximately 11 hectares of cleared land. The remaining 2,418 square meters are awaiting approval of compensation and support plans.
Concluding the inspection, Vice Chairman Quach Tat Liem instructed contractors to mobilize equipment and accelerate construction on the remaining delayed section of the National Highway 6 – Phu Son Industrial Park access road, with implementation scheduled to begin in August. He also requested relevant agencies to improve environmental sanitation, install load-limit traffic signs, and coordinate with the local police to monitor overloaded vehicles in order to ensure traffic safety.
In addition, the Vice Chairman emphasized that all outstanding compensation and support procedures must be resolved within a clearly defined timeframe. Regarding the social housing project, he requested that the investment plan be finalized promptly. Should the assigned developer fail to proceed with the project, the provincial authorities will consider selecting an alternative investor to ensure implementation progress.
The inspection reflects the strong commitment of Phu Tho Province to accelerating the development of strategic industrial infrastructure. With site clearance substantially completed and transportation connectivity continuing to improve, Phu Son Industrial Park is steadily strengthening its position as one of Northern Vietnam's promising industrial destinations, offering an increasingly attractive investment environment for both domestic enterprises and international manufacturers.
